BANQUET AND SPECIAL EVENT PERFORMANCES City Ballet Theatre often serves its community by offering organizations the opportunity to book quality performances and entertainment for banquets and special events. Bookings can range from five minutes to a full length dance concert, solos to full company works, for a nominal fee. CBT works with each individual organization to complement any themes or messages in its presentation. The CBT Dance Company comprises most performances and the CBT Youth Ensemble is chosen for select performances during the school year.
IN-SCHOOL PERFORMANCES If you are looking for an in-school performance that is not only fun but also artistically educational, then this is the perfect choice. You will experience a special performance along with an interactive discussion and Questions & Answer session. In-school performances are best in a school auditorium or other multi-purpose room with a raised stage so that all students have a clear line of vision of the performance. The CBT Dance Company comprises most performances and the CBT Youth Ensemble is chosen for select performances during the school year. In-school performances can take place anytime during the month following each of its concerts. In-School performances last roughly one hour. Locations outside of Milwaukee County will be charged a minimal mileage reimbursement fee. During the last fiscal year, 1,340 students attended matinee performances of "An Ellington Holiday" and the "Summer Youth Arts Camp Final showing." Photo: Keith Knox SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS Off-site school performances take place in the theater during the week before our concerts. Costs are $5 per person and groups are accepted on a first come first serve basis with a 50% deposit. Additional dates/times will be added if needed. We are currently taking bookings for:
